Casa 821 Guest House is a recently renovated homestay in the centre of Oaxaca City, 7.4 km from Monte Alban and 46 km from Mitla. It is set 1 km from Oaxaca Cathedral and features a concierge service.... The accommodation had everything we needed, we had a lovely time there. The room is super spacious and well equipped. The terrace is amazing! And the host is very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay again. :)

Situated within 600 metres of Mazunte Beach and 1.2 km of Punta Cometa in Mazunte, Casa de Kai Mazunte features accommodation with seating area. As a solo female traveler, Casa de Kai was perfection. A 7 minute walk to the beach, one minute to anything you might need or want while in Mazunte. The room was perfect, clean, bright, cozy, simple. Paula is an exceptional and attentive host and a remarkable human. She was the best part of my stay at Casa de Kai - in her, I made a life-long friend. Oh, and the cats Minu and Max hanging with me in the garden, were a sweet addition.

Great location in Centro. Within 5 minutes walk from all necessary amenities. 2 minute walk from a beautiful seaside boardwalk: Mirador Un Sueno Posible (hidden gem) Plenty of delicious food options nearby, within 2-3 minutes walk.. 15 minute walk from Playa Carrizalillo, fantastic swimming beach.

First, our host, David, his family, and their 18-year-old dog were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They generously shared information about Oaxaca and the traditions of Día de los Muertos, making our stay both educational and enjoyable. They also showed great care for our safety, especially at night, and even provided transportation services late in the evening. My friend and I truly felt at home and appreciated in their care. The room was clean and comfortable, with an additional living space and kitchen that made our stay even more convenient. Do note that you'll need to bring your own shampoo and body wash. The common space on the third floor is absolutely AMAZING. While the location is a bit farther from downtown Oaxaca, the stunning mountain views from the beautiful garden make it well worth the stay.

Located in Puerto Escondido, 1.7 km from Zicatela Beach, Private Villa Bonobo offers accommodation with free WiFi, a terrace or a balcony and access to a garden and a year-round outdoor pool. Internet worked perfectly, staff and everyone were super friendly, great vibe and all round a good place to stay ☺️

Casa los Arcos Oaxaca offers accommodation within 1 km of the centre of Oaxaca City, with free WiFi, and a kitchen with a microwave, a fridge and kitchenware. It’s clean, in a great neighborhood and Arturo is very welcoming. Definitely will look forward to going back here!

Featuring a garden, shared lounge and views of inner courtyard, Paziflora Hostel -STARLINK- is set in Puerto Escondido, less than 1 km from Playa Puerto Ángelito. I don’t give out 10’s easily…this is an amazing hostel..they clean the grounds, pool and sheets daily!! Just social enough, great staff…comfy beds.

Casa Gaviota is situated in Mazunte, a few steps from Mazunte Beach, 1.3 km from Punta Cometa, as well as 800 metres from Turtle Camp and Museum. It is really close from the beach. You can just hear the waves. Shame I did only book one night here, because I would stay a full week there. Room very clean and modern.
