As a solo female traveler, Casa de Kai was perfection. A 7 minute walk to the beach, one minute to anything you might need or want while in Mazunte. The room was perfect, clean, bright, cozy, simple. Paula is an exceptional and attentive host and a remarkable human. She was the best part of my stay at Casa de Kai - in her, I made a life-long friend. Oh, and the cats Minu and Max hanging with me in the garden, were a sweet addition.

I really enjoyed my stay at Casa Sixta. It's only a short walk from the best beaches in Puerto Escondido, there are some great restaurants nearby (don't miss the El Viejo smoked fish tacos), and the owner is very friendly and helpful. The bed must've been the most comfortable bed in all of Mexico.

She is simply the best—so joyful, warm, and always ready to share fantastic advice that truly enhanced my experience. Whether it was recommendations for hidden gems or just great conversation, she made my stay even more special. If you're looking for a place that feels like home, with great vibes and the best host, Villa Bonobo is the place to be! Highly, highly recommended—I can’t wait to come back!

The location is a little away from the center, but thanks to that, the area is very peaceful and quiet. Since there isn’t a sign in front of the hostel, it’s best to mark it on the map before arriving. The room was equipped with a desk, two chairs, and drawers, which made it easy to store our belongings. There is also a kitchen available, so we were able to cook simple meals, which was very convenient. The shower water pressure was a bit weak, but we appreciated that there was always hot water.

The atmosphere is super chill, and the people—both staff and guests—make it even better. The staff is really helpful and friendly, always ready to give advice or lend a hand. What makes this place special is the vibe: people gather around the pool or hang out in the open kitchen, and it feels super social without being overwhelming. It's full of greenery—there’s even a beautiful mango tree and tons of little plants all around, which gives it a cozy, tropical feel. If you’re looking for a spot that’s well-located but still peaceful and not too noisy, this is the place. It has that perfect balance between good energy and calm comfort. Definitely recommend!

Objekt Hostal Central Oaxaca nalazi se na idealnoj lokaciji u gradu 'Oaxaca' te ima vrt, besplatan WiFi i zajednički salon. Such a great stay! Bed was comfy, no bunks and spacious room. Breakfast each morning was unbelievable, and they happily cater to diatery needs (vegan/vego etc). There were included activities every night - mole and mezcal tasting, cocktails, movies and cooking class - all of which were well thought out and a great way to meet other guests. The workers and volunteers were super lovely and helpful. I had an amazing time and I will defintley stay again if I am lucky enough to find myself back in Oaxaca.
