Surrounded by tea plantations with views of distant mountains. I spent 4 nights here and had blue sun, misty mornings and night rain. Trails head out direct from homestay. The family are very caring and will pick you up and drop you off on arrival and departure. Also to nearby restaurants. 4 generations live here and they embody the friendliness and hospitality of the Taiwanese people. Comfy bed with electric blanket! Varied vegetarian breakfasts for me! Just go there!

I like the mountain view of the room so much! It have a big balcony and a big window, showing the beautiful mountains! So the room is very bright! And the room is large as well! It should be the best room in my trip! Also, the cat in the hotel is cute, and my kids like playing with her~

Featuring free WiFi, Siangting B&B offers accommodation in Fenchihu, 25 km from Alishan. Free private parking is available on site. Rooms are equipped with a TV with satellite channels. Kim from the frontdesk was amazing, very lovely, helpful and friendly. She provided us an itinerary for rainy days which was nice. We received a free upgrade to a room with bathtub. The room was 1 hour before check-in time ready. It was located at the end of the corridor and was quiet, no noise from the corridor or neighbors. It was very clean, the bathroom equipped with a Japanese toilet and linnen also. Beds are very comfortable (for European standards), size is about 160 x 200 cm and we loved the black out curtains. AC worked perfectly and quiet. Western and Asian breakfast available which is different every day, not too much choice but just enough. At the breakfast area you can get free snacks and tea/water throughout the day. Free umbrella service available for rainy days. Recommended!

Готель Alishan YunMinGi типу "ліжко та сніданок" зручно розміщений за 5 хвилин їзди від автовокзалу Шічжуо. Room is big and comfortable and has a good view of the mountain. We could see sunset and sunrise on the top of the building. The magnificent view of sunset was such an experience that we will remember for a long time. The owner is very friendly as well. We pre-booked the hotpot dinner and it was delicious.

Sitting at an altitude of 1,300 metres, Alishan Tea Garden B&B offers a relaxing getaway in a memorable setting. The bed and breakfast is right next to Fenchihu Forest and overlooks Dadong Mountain. Cleanliness and the helpful friendly staff. Plus the location is perfect to view the mountains. When coming in April/May you can also experience the fireflies during the night at the property surroundings. The host is also very kind and provide us “tea tasting” session of its home grown oolong tea.

Zhongshan Hostel is situated in Zhuqi, 25 km from Chiayi City. Rooms are equipped with a TV. Rooms are fitted with a private bathroom. Extras include slippers, free toiletries and a hairdryer. Exceptionally good place, very good location etc. The owner was incredible kind and helpful, she took us for free to another town, where a bus departed to another town, showing us several interesting places along the way. At the end, she gave us food for the journey...I would very highly recommend the place.
