We had the best time at Plastic Bottles House, David took such good care of us! Loved the meaningful use of plastic bottles as a building material, the initiatives to support the local community, and the beautiful fruit trees all throughout the property. David is an avid birder (ranked #1 and #2 on ebird in Central Uganda!) and is the founder of the Entebbe Birding Club. Birders or aspiring birders are in for a treat, he really knows all about birds! Be sure to check out his bird photography and the shoebill tour (which we did and were lucky to see 2 shoebills and lots of other beautiful birds)! What a nice way to close out our Uganda trip!

I especially liked that the mattress was leather, not fabric it made me feel safer from bugs. There’s also a nice backyard and a small gazebo, which added to the comfort. Annet was very kind and welcoming. I would definitely stay here again!

The staff were welcoming and friendly. Ready to help with any issues or questions I had about the guest house and the area. The food was exceptional, and I wish I could have this at home as well. Lyarnah, the new manager, the daughter of the original owners, has done an amazing job to raise the standards back to what they were with the owners; as well as providing wonderful experience for a single traveller that doesn't know the area well. Very informative with suggesting places and attractions around the country that I should visit.

Precious Guesthouse asub Entebbes, 500 meetri kaugusel ööklubist Legends ja 600 meetri kaugusel Nakumatti supermarketist. (Victoria Mall - Entebbe). Külalised saavad nautida kohapealset baari. The food was absolutely delicious, the whole tilapia in particular. The staff was really kind.

Aia, baari ja järvevaatega Alison & Dave's Guesthouse asub Entebbes, 1,4 km kaugusel Pearl Beachist. Kohapeal on ööpäev läbi avatud vastuvõtt ja välikamin. The guesthouse is tucked away on a side street in a quiet neighborhood of Entebbe. Although we weren't sure how to check in, when we banged on the gate the caretaker Jeffrey soon came to let us in. A long driveway leads up to the home, nicely maintained in the midst of beautiful gardens. The room was as expected - small but functional, with screens, mosquito netting, warm showers and a fan. The area is quiet, but it's easy to reach the shops at Kampala road by boda boda. It's also a very short boda ride (or a 15 minute walk) to the harbor where the Shoebill tours leave from. Jeffrey was super friendly and helpful, and kindly prepared an early (delicious!) breakfast for us so we could make our sunrise Shoebill tour. The staff also let us check out later and hang around for a few more hours while waiting to go to the airport. We felt at home and well taken care of!
