The place was set in such a calm area, we had a great nights sleep! Throughout very clean, tidy and comfortable, all services accessible. The host was very kind and accommodating, even when we arrived 2 hours late due to a traffic accident en route. A very approachable individual. We would gladly stay again.

Gasthaus Pension zum Turm is located in Hospental. Among the various facilities are a garden and ski storage space. There is a restaurant serving Pizza cuisine, and free private parking is available.

We stayed here several times. In my opinion this is the best overnight solution for families in Disentis. Cheap and convenient (room for 4 people, plus crib, available for free), extra clean, simple but well structured. LOT of water with great temperature and high pressure. Abundance of towels. Comfortable beds. VERY clean. Everything looks like brand new. Parking available in close proximity. We didn't have breakfast (not included).

Ostello Pro Osco is located in Faido. The hostel features family rooms. Featuring a private bathroom with a shower and a hairdryer, rooms at the hostel also offer free WiFi.

The simplicity of check in using codes to enter the house and room. The rooms are newly renovated (Aug 2025) with an excellent bed and shower/bathroom. Loved my stay. Highlight was having supper in the villages Restaurant Osteria Salzi (village square). Would recommend both to anyone hiking through on the Strada Alta and the Trans Swiss Route (Nr 2).
