Just got back from the most wonderful stay at El Mirador in Valparaiso! Honestly, I can't say enough good things about this hidden gem. Marisol, the owner, greeted me with the warmest smile and immediately made me feel like family rather than just another tourist. My room was spotless and so peaceful - I slept like a baby every night! Quick tip though: the windows in my room faced the interior hallway rather than outside, so I kept mine open for some fresh air circulation (totally worth it). The highlight of my mornings was definitely enjoying breakfast on that gorgeous patio - sipping coffee while taking in those breathtaking views of Valpo's colorful hills and the ocean beyond. The bread and local fruits were absolutely delicious! I'm already planning my return trip. If you're heading to Valparaiso, do yourself a favor and book with Marisol at El Mirador. You won't regret it!

Loved the vibe and the location. It's right by some of the most beautifully painted alleyways in Valparaiso. The beds are super comfy and the staff are really friendly. The breakfast is good but the only weird thing is that you have to go downstairs for breakfast and then back upstairs to cook your own eggs. Not enough of a problem to mark it down though. Loved it.

The staff was super helpful - i arrived super early because my overnight bus dropped me off two hours earlier than scheduled, they let me into my room early and let me sleep. The bathrooms are clean. The kitchen is equipped to cook. Overall the hostel was quiet which I liked. The staff are super nice to talk to. The atmosphere is cozy.

The double room was good. Don't really know about the hostel area. Staff was helpful. Quiet but still close to sights and restaurants.
