The room I stayed in was exactly like how it was shown in the pictures. I understand that some of the rooms are not like the photos so I'm glad I stayed in the updated area. The location was great as well. Very close to Nebelhorn and Fellhorn, which were both the mountains I snowboarded at. Parking was available and easy as well. All the employees at the hostel were very welcoming and kind.

Mountain Hostel City has free bikes, garden, a shared lounge and terrace in Oberstdorf. Among the various facilities are water sports facilities and ski storage space.

Staff set up everything for me ahead of time, so that I could check in quickly and easily by myself (I arrived late-ish). The room had everything i needed, including my own bathroom and a great view over the river/ forest. The communal kitchen was great to prepare a quick dinner. Perfect location to start the E5 from

It was super clean and nice layout of both small and big rooms. The staff was AMAZING and fluent in English and German, which is great. They gave us great tips on how to get by in the region, stuff that's otherwise difficult to google and the breakfast was super nice. Also the place was super quiet, no fans and a bit away from the city. The staff made sure that the guests were respecting the quietness.
