Location is perfect, right in the downtown, meaning easy access to food and groceries 👍🏻 Also, the Albergue is up on the second floor, so it's quieter even when it's on the side of the street 👍🏻 Every pilgrim is given a key to open & lock the Albergue gate when we head out and come back in. A small kitchen with no stove but everything else. A small laundry area with both a washing machine and a dryer, operated by coins 🪙 Only one dorm room with not too many bunk beds, so it's relatively more quiet and less waiting time for the bathroom and toilet uses. Speaking of which, there are two toilets and three bathrooms, with consistent shower water temp and water pressure. Toilet is also provided with adequate hand soap, toilet paper and hand drying paper 👍🏻 Bunk beds not too small, with power socket right on the side. Bed sheet and blanks, even extra pillows for sore legs are provided for free, very thoughtful Albergue for sure!! One leg massage machine and a locker, both operated by coins 🪙 a Small trash bin on the side of each bunk bed and a large one at the entrance of the dorm room. Pegs provided in the laundry room, cloth hangers left for usage on the bars of the bunk bed... It's all these small details that show you how much thought the Albergue has put into their business and service 🩵 Addition to that, the host introduces you to all facilities and the entire environment one on one, and greets to each pilgrim saying thank you and good night buen Camino for tomorrow before he gets off work, see how wonderful this Albergue and host is?? 😇

Very clean, very nice staff, along the route to Arzua. I love that it has a small wading pool. I was able to spend the rest of my afternoon soaking my feet in cold water while drinking beer!!!

Albergue San Francisco is what all Albergues should be. The bunks are arranged for maximum privacy. I felt like I was in a 4 bed room instead of a 12 bed room. The beds on the end would have seemed like a room with only 2 beds. Excellent arrangement! Clean and comfortable. Great location. On the Camino.
