Zzz Malang is hands down the best budget-friendly hostel in town. The dorm room was spacious and had good ventilation. The bunk beds were comfortable, and each bed had its own power socket and towel. The bathrooms were spotless and fully stocked with essentials. The hostel is in a quiet area, but a 10-minute Grab ride takes you to the train station. Lila was very welcoming and helped me book transport to Yogyakarta. Highly recommended for backpackers looking for comfort without breaking the bank!

The accommodation was great! The room and bathrooms were very clean. Everyone at the reception was very kind, and we even got iced tea as a welcome drink. When I communicated with the hostel beforehand, they recommended companies that arrange transport from the airport to Malang, and I’m very thankful for that.

Beautiful people!!! Magical stay. The location of the hostel is a 15-minute ride to the city center, we rent a bike next to the train station and ride here easily. Vico and his wife h - hospitality - is top-notch. It feels like home when you stay here. I booked for 2 nights at first and extended for 2 more nights with them. The area is green and a little bit on a hill which makes the sleep…deep. We also book the Serie A package tour to Bromo, Ijen from Condro Wulan. You will travel with like-minded people, and the service is perfect!!! Check out the pictures to stop your hesitation. Stay here when you come to Malang!!!

One of the best hostel i've ever stayed. Great value for the price. Perfect location. And there is a night market every night from 6.30-9.30pm outside the hostel. Being your earplugs or asked the host,as it is located in a main street. Little Malang Hostel is a brand new hostel. There is a kitchen and utensils you can use in the reception (breakfast is included from 6am) but the host would prepare it ahead of time for those who want to have breakfast before leaving for a tour or early checkout, you just have to let her know. In the fourth floor, there is a washing machine and linen line you could use to wash and dry clothes. A little balcony and an area where you can rest if you arrive early (perfect for watching tv or just chilling). The beds are so comfy. Gabriela, the host, is so lovely and helpful, she took me to the train station herself to book ticket when I can do it online😊 and a free tour around the city with her motorbike. Gabriela is the best host, so generous, kind and great knowledge about the history of Java, she also gave me great recommendations for food and places to go. She even offer me a free taste of traditional foods! Not only I enjoyed my stay but I found a sister in her! Thanks again Gabriela, I had a great time at the hostel. I will stay there again if I ever come back to Malang.
