It's the only hotel where I've been asked to leave a deposit which was a bit strange, felt a bit like a hostel in that way. Now, the sound proofing between rooms isn't that great but you cannot hear the traffic outside despite it being on a busy road. The bunk bed set up is brilliant - all feels very private and safe. It was quiet at night, I never had to queue for the showers and the lounge / dining and study rooms are excellent. It’s a short walk into town and right by a bus stop. Lots of nice places to eat and drink just minutes away.
