Seawall is a well located hostel. Close to bus stop, large supermarket, eateries and the ocean. It is clean and organised. Also has a shared kitchen. It is a very compact facility. You can rent bicycles and do laundry at reasonable prices. The bed in the mixed dorm was very comfortable. Bed was large though tucked into a smaller sized room. Also lockers for petsonal items. Great take out fried chicken next to hostel. Common area was nice.

The owners are kind and fun. The bed is very comfortable and the shower is very good too. They were cooking a typical Okinawa dinner when I arrived and generously invited me to join. It was the first home cooked meal I've had in a long time. And sharing it with lovely people warmed my heart and filled my tummy.

In a prime location in Makishichō, Family Room Okinawa provides 1-star accommodations close to Naminoue Beach and Yachimun Street.

The location was super close to Kokusaidori, the monorail, and a few of our planned activities. The owners were very kind and responded to my messages promptly. The room was very clean and spacious. The park next to the room was very nice to walk around, and the park cats were so cute!

This is a great place for digital nomads. The rooms have hotel comfort, the common areas have the look and feel of a hostel. The best of both worlds when you consider the low price. Common areas: There is a quiet coworking area separated from the "living room" with fast enough Internet for video calls. The kitchen is well equipped with plenty of spices and accoutrement for actual meal cooking and plenty of seating for dining. There are coin operated clothes washing and drying machines (soap included) as well as drying lines (200 yen washer and 100 yen for 15 minutes of dryer). The front desk is open 9-9 with helpful staff and lots of literature. There is a Japanese-style table that acts as a living room and the obligatory picnic table outside to smoke. Rooms: (we stayed in the twin room, them moved to the twin with bathtub). We booked for 1 night and extended for a week and a half. The twin room is comfy, but the twin with bath is even more inviting. Good water pressure, plenty of hooks, a couch, drawers for clothing, and coffee table makes the place feel like home. The room has an electric kettle with tea and accessories.
