Complete with a private bathroom fitted with a shower, the rooms at the hostel have a flat-screen TV and air conditioning, and certain rooms have a seating area. All guest rooms will provide guests with a fridge.

Sangmi is one of the kindest hosts I have come across! Very clean and peaceful accomodation, and the kimchi was so good :) For foreigners: just keep in mind the sign outside is in Korean, it says 베스텔 레지던스 on the 6th floor :)

You really feel at home here. Hands down, best place to stay at as a solo traveler. Jina and Brian have a really active WhatsApp group, where it's super easy to connect to other travelers. They also gave lots of recommendations what to do and where to go around Seoul Had a super warm welcome and definitely wanna come back.

Newly renovated in March 2018, Hostel Tommy is located within a 3-minute walk from Exit 7 of Jongno 3-ga Subway Station (Line 1, 3 and 5). It offers both dormitory-style and private guestrooms with free WiFi. Guests can relax in the shared lounge and make use of the computers there. A simple free breakfast of toast, cereals, jam and coffee is available daily.

The ambiance and atmosphere are really nice, pleasant. Everything is neat. The staff is great and Tommy himself is just a marvelous host. You can do laundry (washer and dryer - 1000krw each), there's basic breakfast (coffe, cereal, toast) but you can also cook yourself anything you like as there's a 7eleven just next to the hostel, so you can always grab some groceries or a quick bite. Also, for the location, I can't stress enough how good it is. For example the entrance to the Changdeokgung palace is just down the street, the Insadong Street is really near, and you have a subway station where three lines cross (really important, makes traveling way easier) just 200-300m away. Overall, I would definitely stay again and highly recommend the place.

The units come with air conditioning, a fridge, a microwave, a kettle, a shower, free toiletries and a desk. With a private bathroom equipped with a hairdryer, rooms at the hostel also have free WiFi, while selected rooms will provide you with a city view. At Hithere City Myeongdong all rooms come with bed linen and towels.

I was one of the first few to stay in this newly constructed hotel/guesthouse hence facilities are really good and clean. There is a rooftop for smoking, and also lift in the building itself (but you need to take a short 1 flight of stairs to reach the elevator, not a problem at all). It’s about 4mins walk to Myeongdong station exit 6 (not exit 4 that they mentioned), and 8mins walk to Euljiro 1 ga station. Very near and easy. The place is just located right smack in myeongdong shopping street, near myeong dong Gyoza and Sunoa shop. Very very convenient. Toothbrush, towels are provided. Fridge is cold as well in my room. Tv is able to connect to Netflix with your own account. Thank you host for giving us rice cakes on your first day of opening! No need to boil water cos there is a water dispenser outside too.

Situated in Seoul, within 1.5 km of Changgyeonggung Palace and 2.4 km of Changdeokgung Palace, White Story features accommodation with a garden and a shared lounge, and free WiFi throughout the property. The property is located 2.6 km from Gwangjang Market, 2.9 km from Dongdaemun Market and 2.9 km from Bangsan Market. Jongmyo Shrine is 2.9 km from the hostel and Jogyesa Temple is 3.7 km away.

I liked that the owner was responsive to questions. I liked that I could store my luggage for a bit. I liked the helpfulness of the owner. When it got chilly she was worried and reminded me with change of temperature how to use heater. I liked the location and proximity to Seoul City Wall and Line 4. I liked no smoking in the property on the inside. I liked the economical price. I just liked coming home to this place at night. I also liked this wonderful bread shop around the corner. I could not get its name but I stopped there daily for morning coffee and bread. I liked that it was charming. I liked that this was multi aged so that there were not loud young partners through the night. I liked that they provided ear plugs. I would stay here again and again.
