Hostels – what are they?
Hostels offer so much more than a cheap place to stay – they're also a fun way to travel and meet like-minded people. Common areas like shared kitchens and game rooms give you the chance to swap tips, tricks, and travel stories with backpackers from all over the world.
Hostels have come a long way since the first youth hostel opened back in 1912. Nowadays there's something for everyone, from budget "crash pads" to 5-star "poshtels." Whether you'd prefer a bed in a shared dorm or your own private room, you'll see that most hostels are cheaper than local hotels – and a lot more fun, too!
Great location on a canal, too bad the restaurant wasn't open for dinners.
The VIEW from my room (#10) was spectacular! Sun before & after the ground level was in shade.
Really friendly staff, safe place to keep our bikes, the room was lovely and the bathroom was big with a comfy bath tub - great for relaxing after a day of cycling!
Great location. Parking in underground garage was very convenient in Zuidpoort. View from window was great (3rd floor) rooftops and church towers. Interesting quirky old building. Staff very helpful and pleasant.
Great location (even I do not understand, why they moved the reception & closed the nice bar they had near the canal). Now it looks like, like a hostel entrance. Breakfast quite nice.
Warm and friendly family run hotel in a great location in Delft. Our triple room was spacious, with a well functioning bathroom, comfy beds and completely spotless. Located just a few minutes from the central markt, but really quiet and comfortable. They also let us safely secure our bikes on the hotel premises. We didn’t have breakfast at the hotel as there are lots of nice cafes and restaurants in Delft, so can’t comment on that. Would recommend this hotel unreservedly!
