Please see my previous review. This place is awesome in all aspects. I will be back here next time i am in 0031
Hostels offer so much more than a cheap place to stay – they're also a fun way to travel and meet like-minded people. Common areas like shared kitchens and game rooms give you the chance to swap tips, tricks, and travel stories with backpackers from all over the world.

Hostels have come a long way since the first youth hostel opened back in 1912. Nowadays there's something for everyone, from budget "crash pads" to 5-star "poshtels." Whether you'd prefer a bed in a shared dorm or your own private room, you'll see that most hostels are cheaper than local hotels – and a lot more fun, too!
Great Location in Leeuwarden
Close to Central station and City centre
Room was clean and spacious. Beds very comfortable, great shower
Nice outside terrace
Art Deco style interior in restaurant, Bar, very comfortable seats
Staff very helpful
Great location, quiet, bright and spacious “cells”, modern facilities, excellent water pressure in the shower (rare for NDL), kitchen though no stove, helpful and caring staff – when I checked out, I was asked how my stay was and that’s not common in hostels. The lounge area is starting to build up a collection of games and there is a book exchange.
Everything! Great location, really cool ex-prison atmosphere, lots of interesting shops and services in the first floor, simple but comfy beds, impeccably clean and new-looking throughout, great breakfast for a very decent price (unlimited delicious coffee!!). Leeuwarden is awesome and so is this hostel.
This hostel exceeded are expectations because it was a lot of value for the money. It is a converted prison so you are staying in converted cells but it felt quiet and safe.
cheap even if basic without telly or drinks making facilities I did have the budget room after all shared shower and toilet were clean breakfast room was nice and good breakfast location excellent
