The welcome I received at the front desk, by Tiago, I believe, was the best! He was so warm and genuinely welcoming, which made all the difference after my bus arrived late and I didn’t check in until around 2 AM. The room and bed were clean and comfortable, but what really stood out was the exceptional service. Tiago’s kindness and friendly presence made arriving in Porto feel like the best possible start. He shared a few great recommendations, and I ended up having a wonderful time in Porto. I went for a morning run, joined a Porto Walkers tour, and even returned for São João - which was absolutely incredible!

Queen’s Gardens Hostel in Porto is simply perfect. From the moment you walk in, it feels like family — super clean, with a fully equipped kitchen (oven, stove, coffee machine) and a delicious, varied free breakfast. Magali, the host, is incredibly friendly, helpful, and patient, and you can tell she runs the place with heart and soul. There’s also a guitar to play and a beautiful yard to relax in — it truly feels like home. The location isn’t downtown, but buses 602 and 580 stop right in front of the hostel, so getting around is easy. I’ve stayed in other hostels in Porto, but this is the only one I wholeheartedly recommend. I’ll definitely stay here again when I return. Thanks, Magali!

    Clean hostel, nice bathrooms. The bunk beds all have curtains so you can make a little nest, and there's a power outlet at every bunk. The backyard terrace is very nice as well.

    It was my second time in this hostel, I would definitely recommend, I like it, clean, has everything you need there, great location, has even small drawers with key under beds for your belongings and it has lovely sitting areas and dinning/breakfast area :)

    Best hostel I’ve ever been to! It is nice, cozy and clean and you will feel like coming home. Luis is the head and heart of the hostel and makes everyone feel very welcomed! You can rent surf boards, wetsuits and skate boards for free ☺️🙌🏼thank you so much!
