What a gem this place is! Hosts Luis and Nadia are welcoming and helpful in sending you to all the best castles, gardens and beaches. The Portuguese coast region is a Mecca for surfers, but even for a non-surfer elder woman, staying here was the highlight of my visit to Portugal. It became a home; the lovely girls on staff (Tina, Vivi, Jule and Malwina) and young German guests included me as if I were their grandmother. I am an experienced world traveler but have never felt like I was family the minute I arrived.

The space is huge, plenty of room to have a coffee, interact with others or play the available games, without disturbing the ones who want to sleep. I believe it is a natural selection in the kind of people that stayed there: usually young, with a love for nature and community, sociable, kind, etc. I rented an electric bike and a tour to visit the Berlengas Islands at the location.

Super clean, well-organized, and very comfortable stay. The outdoor area is perfect for relaxing and even drying your wetsuits. The beds are cozy, the staff is super friendly, and the neighborhood is nice and calm. There’s also a nice bar with live music just a 2-minute walk away, where you’ll meet lots of locals from Beleal / Ferrel too. Nothing to complain about—would definitely recommend!
