Looking for a hostel?

Budget travelers know there's no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: Save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a little more.

Hostels That Guests Love in Singapore

Pine Hostel - By Just Inn

“We were a family of 8 needing last minute accomodation and Pine Hostel was in our price range. Good sized rooms and K/S bunk beds with our own ensuite. Great location for hawker food markets and MRT and shopping mall. Basic breakfast but adequate enough to start the day with. We had children ranging in age from 2 - 19 and we never felt unwelcome or unsafe. ”

“The manager was so helpful, and the place was great. We stayed for longer than expected in Singapore so had to spend a day or so killing time, there is a great space for relaxing and watching Netflix. The hostel is in a funny area, seems to be the red light district but its not an issue, we felt very safe there. There's lots of good, cheap food around and the public transport is great.”

Tribe Theory - Business Hostel for Startups and Entrepreneurs

“Amazing hostel, super clean, hot showers, extremely helpful staff! lots of professionals which was a nice change from our usual backpacker spots. Decent breakfast and great location, easy to walk around. The massage chair was a massive bonus as was the best value happy hour we found in singapore! ”

Broadway Hotel

“Cheap stay in Singapore and in Little India Area. We paid Rs 35000 ($700) for 8 days stay for 2 rooms. The main purpose was to have access to Indian locality and hotel hence this place. If you are okay with hostels, then I am sure you will get better hostels to stay at these rates. Location is great for access to metro station, Mustafa centre, Indian food and other places.”

Holiday Inn Express Singapore Katong

“The room is cosy and clean. Staff is very friendly and accommodate to your little requests (She even recommended me park my bike at their carpark instead of the pavement) For a budget hotel, they serve continental breakfast (Didn't manage to try it though...) The hotel televised World Cup R16 to cater to football maniacs! Worth the cheap stay!”

Adler Hostel

“The capsule offered some privacy which was very nice! Clean hostel with great AC. Very quiet. Bed was comfy. 1-minute walk to Chinatown, 15 minutes to Marina Bay. Very safe area. The hostel atmosphere was ok, but don't expect anything like it is in YMCAs or backpacker hostels.”

The Bohemian Chic

“Great location near Chinatown MRT and close to Hawker centres for cheap food. Bed was comfy and the hostel was very clean.”

The Bohemian Chic

“The Bohemian Chic was definitely one of the best hostel I have ever stayed. Price wise maybe not the cheapest. But its Singapore, everything is expensive here. From what i paid, and what I get is worth it. Clean bathroom, comfort bed, decent wifi, great location (near to MRT, 7E), easy to park, sandwich and toast all day everyday ! They provide you with basic necessities like towels and blankets. Irons and laundry room are available at ground floor. (Extra charges may applied). Recommended. Will come again definitely.”

“Overall this property was a great choice for what I was after (a easy and cheap stay in a hostel to meet people). The common areas were great for meeting people and relaxing/eating food. I also come to the property later than the check-in time and Rio was still able to accommodate me which I appreciated immensely. The staff were extremely friendly and made you feel comfortable.”

Betel Box Backpackers Hostel

“This is your average youth hostel that I've seen dozens of times over in cities all over the world. It's not bad but then again, not really great. It lacked any distinguishing features. Facilities were just good with your average cheap bunk beds. Aircon in the rooms at night. ”
