Pajama Hostel was the best place I stayed during my Egypt vacation. I ended up staying in a hostel by chance. I stayed in hotels in other cities in Egypt. Pajama Hostel was much better than those hotels. The beds were very comfortable, everything was spotlessly clean, the view was amazing, and it was in the center. The staff were the nicest people I met in Egypt.

In a region not renowned for backpacking, the owner of this hostel has managed to produce a diamond. The place has a real homely feel , largely thanks to the hostel guests, and the bed spaces are amongst the best I’ve experienced in 200+ hostel stays. Mattress and bedding extremely comfortable. Very spacious. Personal light and sockets. Easy access ladder to top bunk and privacy curtain. Nothing has been omitted.

Kashta Nubian Guest Houst has a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and restaurant in Aswan. Omar is an exceptional host. He is proof of the saying: come as a guest, leave as a friend. He facilitated our transfer from Luxor to Aswan, then the road to Abu Simbel. The location is wonderful, the island is quiet - after 6 days in Egypt we slept here without any noise waking us up :). Delicious breakfast, dinner can also be served, also very tasty - Omar is a great cook. He brought us on arrival and departure with his boat. My wife wanted some Egyptian cotton towels - 30 minutes later, Omar brought them to us. Thank you for everything, Omar!

The staff are friendly and gave excellent customer service. The quality of the furnishings were well above the other hostels we tried to Abu Dhabi.

DoroKa Nubian House features a private beach area, shared lounge, a terrace and restaurant in Aswan. The room was very clean and nicely decorated. We loved the view from the balcony, you can see Nile river and drink yoir Coffee there, it's breath taking. Easy and flexible check-in, there is also a welcome drink. The staff was very friendly and super helpful. The food was delicious and various. I highly recommend sgaying there!!

Clean rooms, great location, and the staff went out of their way to make me feel comfortable. Would definitely stay again.

Set within 19 km of Aga Khan Mausoleum and 4.3 km of Nubian Museum, Nubian Hights guesthouse offers rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Ash Shallāl. One of the best places we’ve stayed at! The staff is exceptional, they made sure we had everything we needed and the manager was extremely helpful by sharing suggestions for our Aswan itinerary. Both breakfast and dinner were delicious. Specially dinner, which was cooked by Asma - one of the best meals we’ve had in Egypt! Don’t let the road to the accommodation discourage you. They offer a tuktuk ride in and out to the main street twice per day, which was enough for us. The views are amazing! It is calm and quiet with nice amenities. Everything was clean and seemed recently renovated.

One of the best hostels I've seen so far. Good location, easy to find, beach is just a short walk away. Spacious common areas including working space, everything is clean and constantly kept clean. Bed is a bit hard but still ok, curtains for privacy. And last but not least very nice and helpful staff!
