Situated in the women's division of the World Heritage-listed Fremantle Prison, this YHA offers a mix of private and shared rooms with access to free WiFi. The staff was friendly and kind. There were activities catering to all ages, which was so nice for my family. It was very clean and comfortable. We appreciated the beautiful displays honoring the unique history of the prison.

We booked pretty last minute and arrived shortly after booking. Jayda, the hostel manager, was outstanding! She greeted us in a very warm, friendly way when we arrived and we were able to check in straight away. The room was spacious with a private fridge, which was very handy, and the double bed exceptionally comfortable. The bathrooms and kitchen were very clean and the location is great - only a short walk to the beach and center of Fremantle. After checking out, Jayda kindly allowed us to store our luggage at the hostel for the day and it really made moving to our new place a lot easier. Overall it is a very family-like vibe at the hostel, which is something I haven’t experienced before at other hostels. I’d highly recommend this hostel to other travelers, whether it’s for a short or longer stay, and I was sad to only stay for one night. Would definitely come back for another stay! :) Thank you, Jayda - you are great and make this place feel very special and like a home away from home.

Spinners Hostel in Perth provides adults-only accommodation with a garden, a shared lounge and barbecue facilities. Absolutely everything! Honestly the best hostel I've stayed in EVER! Can't fault it at all, I felt super at home, staff went above and beyond and they have everything you need. I was super sad to leave and definitely will be back!
