I originally booked for 1 week…ended up staying over a month. It’s an older house with some cosmetic issues, but the homey feel and people made it hard to leave. It is a working hostel, so it was nice that they hosted a job seeker workshop to give some insight into what the Aussies are looking for. Made some amazing friends who were had the same relative goals and not party 24/7. Love the family dinner night and programming. Shout out to Arnie and his amazing spa night that was 1000% needed. The staff were cleaning warriors and Amanda has a killer work setlist.

Surrounded by shops and eateries, this hostel is right in the middle of Elizabeth street and Queen Victoria Market where great bars, shops are restaurants within 1 minute walking distance. Melbourne Central train station is just a 5 minute walk away. Lots of community space and activities. Lovely walking tour offered on Fridays; shout out to the tour-guide, Tonya, for making it memorable! Great stay. Great value. Great location. Clean and friendly.

YHA Apollo Bay Eco Hostel is a 2-minute walk from restaurants and cafes in Apollo Bay town centre. It is a 45-minute drive to Cape Otway Lighthouse and a 90-minute drive to the Twelve Apostles. Location and spacious and eco conscious. Loved the yoga! Made my stay above and beyond.

Miguel and Tyrick were amazing hosts, warm, helpful, and always ready with great tips and information. I’ll miss them both and hope to cross paths again someday.🫣✨

Guest rooms are equipped with air conditioning, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, a fridge, a coffee machine, a shower, a hairdryer and a desk. The rooms at the hostel are fitted with a private bathroom and bed linen. Amazing, cant describe it otherwise. The staff really cares about you. Arrived late, so got a late check out. They guide you to the room, gave me all that I need. When I returned the key, staff gave me water for on the road. 10/10

You can play billiards and darts at the hostel, and the area is popular for fishing and snorkelling. It was really familiar and a excellent location. We got an upgrade to a twin Room that was amazing. The kitchen and the bathroom was very clean and the whole hostel was designed with love and details. Everywhere fresh flowers also in our room. I can recommend it!
