The Host went out of his way to accommodate me. After 5 days on the ferry I just needed a simple and quiet refuge for the night. The location is good and safe. Plenty of security. Only 4 bunks in the room.

Situated in Belém and with Basilica-Sanctuary of Our Lady of Nazareth reachable within 300 metres, Casa Miriti Hostel - a 200m da Basílica de Nazaré features a garden, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi... The common area has a fan and outside area and the spaces were clean. Breakfast tapioca cake(?) was my favorite. It was nice to be able to do our laundry in the hostel. Also having a water dispenser in the kitchen was a plus. There is a large supermarket located nearby and the neighbourhood felt safe.
