Dendê Jazz Hostel e Pousada is set on the beachfront in Morro de São Paulo, a few steps from Second Beach and 1.7 km from Morro de Sao Paulo Fort. I was pleasantly surprised by our stay at Dende Jazz. Fran, our lovely host, made us feel comfortable and at home from the very beginning. He offered us two different rooms at the same price so we were able to pick the one we liked more. The breakfast was simple but perfect (eggs, bread, ham, cheese, fresh fruit and fruit juice, tea, coffee and fried plantains). The location is maybe 25m from Praia 3 and a very short walk to the other beaches. Our room was so nice; super clean, comfortable, great a/c, nice balcony with a hammock and all to ourselves. Fran also informed us about the nightlife in town. Highly recommend!

Vila Pepouze Hostel features an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a shared lounge and terrace in Morro de São Paulo. The atmosphere is super friendly and relaxed, and it was really easy to meet people. The staff were lovely and always happy to help or give tips about what to do around Morro. The place is clean, cozy, and has a really nice outdoor area where everyone ends up hanging out. The location is nice and quiet to sleep well. I would definitely stay here again.

Located inside a natural reserve, Universo Pol Bamboo Hostel offers accommodation in Morro de São Paulo. Free WiFi is available throughout the property. Some units include a seating area to relax. I've read some previous reviews and should tell these people to stay home LOL. It's a very peaceful and cozy place with nice stuff and contact with Nature. Recomendadíssimo.

Situated in Morro de São Paulo, Morro Hostel e Pousada has a garden, shared lounge, terrace, and free WiFi throughout the property. I fully recommend it. The views were amazing, loved to wake up and be able to practice yoga in the terrace with these views, you can even check the waves if you surf. The shared room was good, with space and the bathroom inside. Everything was clean. Also a shared kitchen where you can cook on your own. And the host Regina was very nice, welcoming and attentive, it was very easy to communicate with her and she helped me with everything I needed (even something unrelated to the hostel).

Mundo da Lua Hostel in Morro de São Paulo provides adults-only accommodation with a bar and a shared lounge. Amazing hostel. Close to the beach and everything. The staff or family that lives there is amazing and very friendly.

Monkey beach agroturismo features a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, garden, a private beach area and shared lounge in Gamboa. This is the kind of gem that we are looking for when traveling. Originally booked for 3 nights and ended up staying 10. This place is a paradise, beach front, clean, great and responsive staff, stunning view from the shared kitchen. 10 mins walk to the closest market, 5 mins walk to all the beach restaurants, 30 mins easy beautiful walk to Morro de Sao Paulo when tides allow. Absolutely fantastic sunsets right from the property. Easy ins and out to nearby cities by fast boat, ferry or catamaran. Hello this place is perfect, we will definitely miss it.
