From the owner (Bob) to all the facilities.. one of the best hostels I have ever stayed in. Very well equipped kitchen like and the bathroom is much better equipped than star class hotel. Well worth the money.

HI Calgary City Centre is located in East Village, right around the corner from downtown. Free coffee and tea is provided all day. Staff's Support and behaviour was Great. Location is very near from E-Train.

The parking is conveniently located right in front of the hostel, making it easy to access. They offer free bus tickets if you want to head down to the village, though we didn’t use them, it’s a nice offer to have. The place is very peaceful if you're looking to feel surrounded by nature, yet still cozy, as there are other guests around. We used the kitchen to cook, which was very practical, and my boyfriend had breakfast at the restaurant. Everything was great—both the bathrooms and showers were clean, and our room was perfect for us. We had a private room, and while the bed wasn’t very big, it was comfortable enough for one night. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Situated in Canmore, 29 km from The Whyte Museum of the Canadian Rockies, Canmore Alpine Hostel - Alpine Club of Canada features accommodation with free bikes, free private parking, a shared lounge... The location of the hostel is exceptional: very secluded in the woods, on a fairly steep slope of SW exposure, lots of sunshine day time (even in winter :-), beautiful view from the deck towards Three Sisters. Main lodge and the cabins are built in classic alpine style. The place is far enough from the hwy not to hear it but close enough to downtown Canmore (5 min or so). The interior of the main lodge is very cozy and stylish (wood), too; the common use rooms are nicely decorated, etc. The staff is very welcoming and helpful.
