The hostel itself was comfortable and showers were amazing. Breakfast was basic but free so cannot complain! Great places within the communal areas for sitting and relaxing or chatting to other travellers.

It also features panoramic views of the local mountains. Wonderful stay. Located in the center of the village. They provided me with a parking space at the property free of charge. I had a shared bathroom, a spacious and pleasant room with no noise. The breakfast was plentiful and varied. Very close to all amenities, including the cable cars and restaurants. Everything was very clean, the accommodations were beautiful, rustic, and the decor was minimalist. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. I was able to enjoy three wonderful nights in Grindelwald. I felt right at home!

We liked everything and we had wonderful time there. -The owner was extremely nice, friendly and welcoming. He made our stay so pleasant and memorable. -The room was so clean, very big and equipped with up to date facilities. -Everything for cooking and eating was provided in the kitchen. Additionally, drinks are provided in the fridge for a very cheap price even cheaper than coop.

It’s situated in a very quiet place close to the downtown. The room was absolutely fabulous and super clean. The toilettes and the showers are separated from each other. The breakfast is jaw-dropping!! I got pretty late to Bern, but the receptionist, Joanna was super kind and helpful. She gave me a map, so I went to discover the city in an old skool way. In winter, a shuttle service to the surrounding ski areas is provided. Free WiFi is available in all areas of the hostel. Was working in Interlacken 30 years ago in Jungfrau Hotel and was so excited to come stay here as always had a great vibe about it and thrilled to see, 30 years later, same owner , who I met again and his daughter. Sorry to hear the other partner passed, RIP Pete , you’ve left the place in great hands.

Probably the cheapest option in Bern. Stuff is friendly and helpful. The common area in the hostel is big and convenient. In January the room was warm. Totally recommend.
