Great location, right in between both train stations, close to food and restaurants was quite clean, kitchen area was very well equipped and great common area. Breakfast in the morning was good as well and staff were very helpful.

We had room number one and woke up with an amazing view onto the alps so close you can almost touch them. The kitchen is really well equipped. We picked up some supplies for breakfast. Instant coffee, sugar, salt, herbal teas were already there in abundance. Plus they sell local cheese directly from the kitchen fridge. Also, when we left, I had forgotten my purse! The owner came running after us (a good 500 m) to bring it to me! That's what I call SERVICE!

It also features panoramic views of the local mountains. Hosts were wonderful! Breakfast was great. Room was small but that was expected. Location great. We had an excellent experience!

The house is very cozy, comfortable and it is very close to the pier. The host is very friendly and he helped us a lot. If we have the opportunity to return to Interlaken, we would love to stay at Walters hostel again. Highly recommend everyone to choose this location as a place to rest.
