It also features panoramic views of the local mountains. This B&B is superb and very value for money. Great view of the mountains. The area is also quiet and allows for an uninterrupted sleep at night. With its prime location near the Grindelwald train station, it is a great base to explore the area and even Lauterbrunnen or Interlaken. The hosts are friendly and the place is kept very clean including the toilet. The lady host is a very hardworking lady; I love the breakfast she prepares. The lady host also gave me recommendation on hiking trails and shared with me brochures which are helpful for my itinerary planning. Before the date of my stay, I also received an email prompt for pre-registration which I thought was very thoughtful as I could then receive a guest card which provides some perks like free transportation around the area.

Boasting a bar and views of mountain, Schutzenbach Backpackers For Adults 18-34 years only is situated in Lauterbrunnen, 16 km from Grindelwald Terminal. 32 km from Giessbachfälle and less than 1 km from Staubbach Falls, the hostel features ski storage space. Free WiFi is available and private parking can be arranged at an extra charge. This was an incredible experience and stay. This hostel is in a perfect location just walking distance from the train station and bus stop. Not to mention “where it’s located” in Beautiful Lauterbrunnen! Debrah (the owner) felt like a mom away from home, making sure I had everything I needed including plans or itineraries for the day. Her wealth of knowledge of Lauterbrunnen and the surrounding areas turned a good trip into a great one. The room (single twin room) was spacious and more than comfortable. With showers and facilities just a few steps down the hall. The location had new/ plenty washers and dryers. The bathrooms and rooms were kept very clean. The bar down stairs was full of character and a nice place to end the night . The bartender GiGi was the highlight of my nights in Lauterbrunnen, she was kind, attentive, and full of stories and jokes. I got to meet the receptionist Fernando before my departure and he was a really nice guy with good energy. Ultimately staying here might have been the highlight of my Europe trip this year . I highly recommend staying here and taking the time to get to know the staff, they made my whole experience and trip one to remember !
