Great location, right in between both train stations, close to food and restaurants was quite clean, kitchen area was very well equipped and great common area. Breakfast in the morning was good as well and staff were very helpful.

We had room number one and woke up with an amazing view onto the alps so close you can almost touch them. The kitchen is really well equipped. We picked up some supplies for breakfast. Instant coffee, sugar, salt, herbal teas were already there in abundance. Plus they sell local cheese directly from the kitchen fridge. Also, when we left, I had forgotten my purse! The owner came running after us (a good 500 m) to bring it to me! That's what I call SERVICE!

Situated in a historic building only 100 metres from the famous Zytglogge Tower, the Bern Backpackers Hotel Glocke can be found right in the centre of the city. The location is great. It's safe even at night, so you can walk alone. The room was also good. There's a small sink in the room, but it was helpful that I could brush my teeth at the sink in the shower room or bathroom because I didn't want to brush my teeth in front of my roommates.
