Come to Balmers and stay in the oldest private hostel in Switzerland! Our hostel is situated in three traditional Swiss wooden chalets that surround a courtyard, terrace and garden. The location was great, the hostel itself, the room and kitchen were very clean. I was lucky to have a room with separate beds and it was very spacious. The hostel has a museum and is one of the most old hostels in Switzerland!

Aku menginap disini selama 3 malam dan setiap hari sampah di kamar di buang oleh staff. Staff ramah bgt👍🏻🫶🏻 bisa memasak sesuka hati karna ada dapur di lantai bawah. Dapur luas bgt, bersih ada kulkas, microwave juga. Kompor juga banyak jadi gaperlu khawatir harus mengantri. Pemandangan luar hotel indah bgt masyaAllah💗 Wifi kenceng bgt. Dapat free tiket bus untuk interlaken dan kota2 di sekitarnya (Termasuk di iseltwald). Kalau pengen berkunjung ke swiss mau nginep di sini lagi🫶🏻🫶🏻👍🏻❤️

The room was cozy and comfortable, providing the perfect space to relax after a day of exploring. One of the highlights of our stay was the lovely and generous breakfast. There was a great variety of delicious options, which really set the tone for a good day ahead. The host was incredibly kind and welcoming, going above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay. We arrived early, and they kindly offered luggage storage, which was a big help. As a special touch, since it was my wife's birthday, the host took the time to ask if we had any special requests. They even left a thoughtful birthday card on our door in the morning, which really added to the personal and memorable experience. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a beautiful location, cozy accommodations, and warm, attentive hospitality.

It's just a beautiful as the photos show. The character of the heritage building is lovely. It oozes with the feeling of a secluded summer lodge, yet is close enough to interlaken to get to everything easily. The staff were kind, helpful and welcoming. They provided me gluten free buns for breakfast.

The accommodation is really great, with a beautiful garden. You can see the snow mountain in the garden with a clear view. The facility is pretty good. It will take 15 mins'walk from the station to the accommodation.
