It's modern, clean, and a relaxing environment. The kitchen has lots of great food options including a very affordable three course dinner. I was accommodated with gluten free pasta for the dinner, and gluten free buns for breakfast, both of which I hugely appreciated! The pool was a really nice perk, it was great to have a chance to practice my swimming while traveling.

Our meals were delicious and the chef took Into account for 2 of our children’s food allergies. The location and views were amazing. Our children (ages 4,9 and 11) all loved the playgrounds and treasure hunt hike up the mountain. This was a very family friendly lodge and we hope to visit again! Everyone who works here is friendly and compassionate.

Hostel Lehmann's Herberge sa nachádza v pokojnej centrálnej časti obce Grindelwald, 350 metrov od lanoviek Firstbahn a Männlichenbahn. Before check-in, I was a bit nervous because I had read some reviews suggesting the host could be intimidating. However, I found the host to be friendly and even humorous when explaining some things to take note of. It just goes to show that if you show respect and consideration, others will often respond in kind. Make sure to fill out the form requested by the host, which can be found in the email or inbox of the booking website. One day, I lost my room key and went to the main area hoping to find it. The hosts told me I had accidentally left it on the table after breakfast and they had kept it for me. Instead of scolding me, they simply explained what had happened, which I really appreciated. The room was cosy, the bed comfortable, and the blanket thick enough to keep me warm. Breakfast was great too! I especially loved the homemade yoghurt and fruit salad. Unfortunately, I didn’t get to interact much with the hosts during breakfast since I left early for Männlichen and First on two of the days. You can politely ask the hosts if you can have breakfast earlier, and they might even prepare packed food for you! On my last day, I was using my phone to check where to go and arrange transportation to Milan. Until I finished and left, I only noticed the banner at the door requesting no phone use in the dining area, as I think the hosts prefer human interaction and a break from devices. I regret not noticing this sooner, and I hope to return next time to interact more with the hosts! Lastly, the location is fantastic! When I opened the window, I was greeted with beautiful views. Thank you again for making my trip so memorable!

All the reviews about this accomodation are true. To provide a more unique piece of comment, when I arrived late, tired and outside of incheck hours, I found the bedsheets presented neatly inside-out. In case we are not familiair with how to make up a bed the easiest way, take the sheets inside-out and shake like crazy. I was tired and I was positively speechless (if I was talking). Never made a bed up so easily in my life, for real. On a more personal experience, Matt really gave me the “Swiss” feeling that other, more touristy places, failed me to provide. I felt comfortable and like at home in the area, but then in Switzerland. I will definitely come back here, to climb the mountain across Matt. I did not have the time for it sadly. Also, ja, Florian, cool dude. The reviews about the host does him right. (Also you get free public transport btw, in the Kanton)

Ubytovanie Berghaus Diavolezza sa nachádza v destinácii Berninahäuser. Hostia tu majú k dispozícii terasu, priamy prístup k vchodu na lyžiach a reštauráciu. Some staff very friendly and helpful, others more abrupt. Location is fabulous and room lovely. Dinner/breakfast good.

Ubytovanie Schutzenbach Backpackers For Adults 18-34 years only sa nachádza v destinácii Lauterbrunnen 16 km od miesta Grindelwald Terminal a hostia v ňom majú k dispozícii bar a výhľad na hory. I spend 3 nights in the Hostel and had amazings and completely different evenings each day, i got one bed in the shared room and it was full booked but everyone was respectful and tried their best to be quiet in the early morning and past midnight as well! The vibes are immaculate, all the staff is super kind and helpful. The hole idea of the hostel is to have a break, to share a good time and to know people while you are adventuring, exploring, learning. I think that’s why most of us left so happy and in peace at the same time. The beds are comfortable, they’ll provide a towel and a locker and there’re enough plugs for everyone. The kitchen has microwaves, water heater and two fridges to store your food and the supermarket is close, like a 10 min walk or two stops if you use the bus, which is right next to the reception. I’m so glad i choose this Hostel and hope i’ll come back
