It's a very peacefull and beautiful place. I really enjoyed my stay. The room was confortable, the kitchen had everything I needed to make breakfast and cook dinner. Everything was super clean. There's a lot of information available about all the things that can be done closeby.

Suuren puutarhan ympäröimässä Youthhostel Luganossa on ulkouima-allas, jonka äärellä on kansituoleja ja aurinkovarjoja. Loved it! Very nice staff, location and overall feel. Was only going to do 1 night but ended up adding on another as I liked it so much. Staff were very accommodating for that and everything else. Highly recommend for a stay in the Ticino area. Great value for money

The Hotel&Hostel Montarina occupies a historic Villa built around 1860, only 200 metres from the Lugano train station. Despite being a hostel near the train station, it was very nice and quiet. The staff was very nice and helpful. They will provide lockers, vending machines, coffee machine and plenty of space in the fridge as well as facilities to make your own food. And the location is amazing only 5min from train station.

Surrounded by a lush garden, the Youth Hostel Locarno is 1.5 km away from the train station and the Lake Maggiore. i had to check in late due to a late night train, but the staffs were super helpful in ensuring that i manage to check in by myself. got a shared dorm all by myself and i thought the staffs were very considerate because i was pretty worried that i would wake the roommate during late night if i had one.

Ostello Pro Osco is situated in Faido, within 47 km of Source of the Rhine River - Lake Thoma and 48 km of Castelgrande Castle. The property is non-smoking and is located 40 km from Devils Bridge. The simplicity of check in using codes to enter the house and room. The rooms are newly renovated (Aug 2025) with an excellent bed and shower/bathroom. Loved my stay. Highlight was having supper in the villages Restaurant Osteria Salzi (village square). Would recommend both to anyone hiking through on the Strada Alta and the Trans Swiss Route (Nr 2).

Situated in Contra and with Piazza Grande Locarno reachable within 5.9 km, Casa San Bernardo features a terrace, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi and a restaurant. Friendly staff, good breakfast. The restaurant is good, very tasty food. It has a hostel vibe but for the price, it's great. Better to have a car... not central. Very spacious showers. The view from the terrace is fantastic!
