Set in a 6min wall from the main street in the centre it creates a perfect place for chilling and meeting other fellow travellers. The place is spotless clean. The cleaners are refreshing rooms every day this includes the dorm bed bedrooms. The owner is the most lovely and helpful woman. They are very flexible with breakfast especially knowing that lots of trips start in the early hours so they offer take away lunch. I stayed in 4 bed dorm and had a great time, good sleep and felt very safe.

I stayed at Casa Macaw for 3 days and 2 nights, and had an awesome time here. Mr. Siul is very helpful in check-in process, allowed me late checkout, and ensured I didn't have any problems during my stay. Location is perfect, just 3 minutes walk to main street. Rooms are very clean and spacious. Do stay at Casa Macaw and you will have a convenient and wonderful time.

It is a lovely place with very friendly owners. First of all, I do not really understand why it is called hostel - every room has its own shower and toilet, and in fact it is rather a very small hotel with access to a nice and neat kitchen (since there are only three rooms, we never even co-used it with anyone, it was to our use all the time). The building is designed in a smart way, so that it is not too hot inside the rooms, and even the absence of A/C was not an issue. It is possible to park a car in the front yard and lock the gate, which makes it very safe place. Normally I am very picky and never stay in hostels, but it is a nice exception.

Located 500 metres from the town centre of San Pedro de Atacama, Hotel Anpaymi Atacama offers accommodations in the commune of Lickancabur. Very clean and tidy property and room. Host was extremely friendly and helpful. We came at a time when the weather wasn't great so many of the popular attractions were closed, and our host was able to provide advice for things we could do instead, one of which ended up being a trip highlight 'the Devil's Throat'. Also recommended a great French bakery where the croissants were incredible! Rooms are small but cosy and comfortable. There was a small kitchen to prepare a cup of tea in the morning and a fridge to store food. They also have the sweetest cat and little doggy to top off the stay!

Just 10 minutes’ walk from Plaza de Armas, this rustically inspired hostel is located in San Pedro de Atacama. Bicycle rentals are available at Hostal Casa Turipite. We had a pleasant stay in Casa Turipite. Our room was very comfortable and we also enjoyed the communal area. Pamela left our breakfast ready for us, as we had a very early tour. Lovely and caring staff members! Big thanks to them :) The kitchen was well-equipped, breakfast was phenomenal and nutritious, bathrooms and rooms were cleaned spotless on a daily basis. Central and super convenient location, and despite being centrally located, the hostel was calm and quiet.
