Casa Maria was very conveniently located by the bus terminal in La Serena meaning we didn’t have to walk for too long with our big bags. Close enough to the centre and approx 25 minute walk to the beach. The hostel itself was very cute and full of flowers in the garden, had lamps and hooks as well as clean, good-sized bathrooms. The hosts were exceptionally friendly, going above and beyond to help us do our washing and give us directions around the town. We loved our stay!

Lila the host was so friendly and the garden is absolutely beautiful. There are two terraces to sit and enjoy the stunning views. Really recommend

A wonderful place with a lovely outdoor kitchen, lots of trees and greenery around, and it felt very secluded. A very peaceful, respectful place. We will miss it!

El Arbol Eco Lodge is located in a green and exuberant oasis , full of palm trees and a variety of other trees and flowers, where lots of birds have a peaceful and undisturbed place to live. Great stay, very friendly staff and super comfortable room. Highly recommend!
