Just got back from the most wonderful stay at El Mirador in Valparaiso! Honestly, I can't say enough good things about this hidden gem. Marisol, the owner, greeted me with the warmest smile and immediately made me feel like family rather than just another tourist. My room was spotless and so peaceful - I slept like a baby every night! Quick tip though: the windows in my room faced the interior hallway rather than outside, so I kept mine open for some fresh air circulation (totally worth it). The highlight of my mornings was definitely enjoying breakfast on that gorgeous patio - sipping coffee while taking in those breathtaking views of Valpo's colorful hills and the ocean beyond. The bread and local fruits were absolutely delicious! I'm already planning my return trip. If you're heading to Valparaiso, do yourself a favor and book with Marisol at El Mirador. You won't regret it!

Casa Volante Hotel offers accommodation Cerro Concepción hill in Valparaíso, only 100 metres away from the commercial area and from Paseo Yugoeslavo area. We were in the family apartment. The floor creaks, the paintwork is chipped, the windows don't close properly but it has so much character, it's a super stay. The breakfast is excellent, Bread, cheese, waffles, yogurt, fruits, teas and coffee. Staff are excellent. Location is perfect. Large communal kitchen. Many Bus stops within 5 minutes walk.
