Maki is a very confortable with a lot of space for working on a laptop. The wifi is good most of the time. THere was one day when the wifi went out as I was working in the dorm. The staaff kept the hostel clean, and the kitchen was well kept. Maki is the best hostel I have stayed at on Calle Uriolla in Valparaiso, and this is the best so far.

Casa Volante Hotel offers accommodation Cerro Concepción hill in Valparaíso, only 100 metres away from the commercial area and from Paseo Yugoeslavo area. Lively spot, with very friendly staff and good atmosphere. Well equipped kitchen and good facilities generally. Location is absolutely stellar, and we highly recommend the cafe downstairs.

The staff was super helpful - i arrived super early because my overnight bus dropped me off two hours earlier than scheduled, they let me into my room early and let me sleep. The bathrooms are clean. The kitchen is equipped to cook. Overall the hostel was quiet which I liked. The staff are super nice to talk to. The atmosphere is cozy.
