Just got back from the most wonderful stay at El Mirador in Valparaiso! Honestly, I can't say enough good things about this hidden gem. Marisol, the owner, greeted me with the warmest smile and immediately made me feel like family rather than just another tourist. My room was spotless and so peaceful - I slept like a baby every night! Quick tip though: the windows in my room faced the interior hallway rather than outside, so I kept mine open for some fresh air circulation (totally worth it). The highlight of my mornings was definitely enjoying breakfast on that gorgeous patio - sipping coffee while taking in those breathtaking views of Valpo's colorful hills and the ocean beyond. The bread and local fruits were absolutely delicious! I'm already planning my return trip. If you're heading to Valparaiso, do yourself a favor and book with Marisol at El Mirador. You won't regret it!

Maki is a very confortable with a lot of space for working on a laptop. The wifi is good most of the time. THere was one day when the wifi went out as I was working in the dorm. The staaff kept the hostel clean, and the kitchen was well kept. Maki is the best hostel I have stayed at on Calle Uriolla in Valparaiso, and this is the best so far.

Casa Volante Hotel offers accommodation Cerro Concepción hill in Valparaíso, only 100 metres away from the commercial area and from Paseo Yugoeslavo area. The breakfast extra fee worths it! The receptionist staff are really helpful and gave us great recommendations.

The staff was super helpful - i arrived super early because my overnight bus dropped me off two hours earlier than scheduled, they let me into my room early and let me sleep. The bathrooms are clean. The kitchen is equipped to cook. Overall the hostel was quiet which I liked. The staff are super nice to talk to. The atmosphere is cozy.

Kori's hostel provided the perfect base to explore the island for a few days. The beds were comfy and good sized, bathrooms clean and had hot water and the wifi pretty good considering the location. There was a fully stocked kitchen which was great as I brought food from the mainland and plenty of space to chill out and meet other travellers. Kori was also super useful when it came to arranging tours and arranged all of my activities and for a load of other guests which made my life a lot easier. Kori himself is also super friendly and great to chat to about the island and its history. Would recommend to anyone to stay here!
