I wanted to stay in something more traditional and because we have booked hiking activities we wanted something in a good location. I was extremely positively impressed. Beautiful traditional place and in a very convenient location both close to the airport but also the mountains. The highest value of this place though are the owners. They were extremely helpful, cared for us (called to see what time we arrive and to find us taxis) and in general showed us extreme hospitality. There are those places that you remember after a long time. For sure when it comes to accommodation, this is the place I will remember from China. Highly recommend it, really amazing value for money.

يقع Destination Youth Hostel على بعد 5 دقائق فقط سيرًا على الأقدام من منتزه غابة تشانغجياجيه الوطني، ويضم غرف ضيوف خاصة وصالات نوم مشتركة بسيطة مع خدمة الواي فاي المجانية. This place is so wonderful! The staff, the location, the room...it is amazing! Even the guests were so friendly and nice. We met people of all ages here. Our room was very spacious and comfortable. We were busy hiking everyday and it was so nice to come back to a cozy place at the end of the day. After hours and hours of hiking each day, the best part was we didn't have to walk far to go to dinner...practically just outside the hotel on the main street is the night market with tons of food stands of delicious food. A huge variety and wonderful! We loved our routine every night of coming home and going to dinner right outside of the hotel. The staff here is exceptionally wonderful. Ralph is such a great, fun, kind, friendly guy. Our 7 year old daughter liked making friends with him. The perfect staff team is complete with (Nia- not sure how to spell her name) who is practically your personal travel planner. Out of our entire trip, there was no other hotel who did so much for their guests than this one! Ralph and Nia organized everything for us! She sat down for so long and worked out every single detail of our daily schedule in the parks, bought the tickets, gave us maps, told us where to go, everything! I am amazed that they do this for every single one of their guests! Wow! That takes a lot of patience and a lot of time! You all do it wonderfully! We loved the decorations in this hotel. The wood made us feel like we were in a mountain retreat somewhere. It was all perfect. Thank you so much for everything! When we come back to Zhangjiajie one day, we will definitely stay at this place. It was one of the highlights of our trip! With love from Christian, Lisa and Haven

An incredible warm welcome, I couldn't dream better for my very first trip to China! The hotel is nice and clean. The staff is very available: they helped me install WeChat, assisted me in buying tickets to visit the famous "Avatar Mountains" and even offered to drive me to the station with their personal car to avoid taking the bus or taxi. Thank you very much for this week!

I really loved it there, even more so because I just came from a zangjiajie with a hostel that was disgusting, I was so happy coming to this hostel, it’s in the middle of the phoenix city with lots of food options nearby, they also have a kitchen if you wanna cook yourself, the room has a normal toilet too if you don’t like squatting toilets. The employees were especially nice and helped me a lot, they translated everything if I needed something, if you wanna try on cultural Chinese clothes- they have a few dresses and lots of jewelry to try on for free 😊.I liked it so much I stayed two more days and if I visit this great city again I’ll definitely book here again 😊

Staffs were super helpful, shout out to Dewy and An who helped me a lot in this trip. They answer my endless questions with ease and booked lots of attractions with discounted price! I met many friends from this hostel and we had a dinner two nights in a row. Hostel is so close to the East Gate and restaurants. Across the hostel, there's breakfast place and supermarket that sells some breads. It really felt like home away from home.
