Amazing family who runs the hotel. Great for both solo travel (me this trip) and party of 2+. The younger matriarch is so kind and her English is great. The older matriarch was lovely too, she made great breakfast for me all 4 days I stayed. The patriarch was so helpful, from recommending my friend who I just met and I, and showing us what sites to go to and how to navigate around Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. The place is 30 minute walk and 7 min drive from the park's east gate entrance. I love how he strike conversations with everyone–we used translate to have a Chinese-English conversation and got to know more about him. He smiles every time you enter. The people who stay at this hotel are so kind as well. First night here I got to have a family style meal for the first time in China. Will definitely book again when I go back to Wulingyuan with my friends/family.

Only a 5-minute walk from Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, Destination Youth Hostel-Walk 5 minutes to east entrance of national park,Coffee,Book tickets,Laundry service,Experienced tour guide service... great location as in 5min walk to the main gate of the forest park, 10-15min walk to the bus station, many good restaurants nearby within 3min walk; staff is very friendly and helped us with buying discounted tickets also planned some nice routes for a 2-day trip; bed is comfy and shower is fine; ac warmed up the room pretty quickly

The location is perfect, and everything was extremely well organized. This is honestly one of the best hostels I have ever stayed in. I would 100% return and recommend it to everyone.”
