Conveniently set in Shanghai, Hi Cozy International Youth Hostel East Nanjing Road & The Bund&English Services provides air-conditioned rooms, a fitness centre, free WiFi and a garden. Great hostel with clean dorms and shower. You can do your own laundry, which is great. It has a big common area to eat, rest or meet new people. The ladies from the staff were amazing.

I've had a great experience! The hostel is clean, well organized, not too crowded nor noisy. I've enjoyed very often chatting with the people in the hostel. All the staff consists of friendly and nice people. I chatted very often with Tang, who speaks english very well and has been extremely helpful and welcoming during my whole stay in the hostel.

The rooms are very comfortable, bed has a lot of space and smart organization (chargers, light, storage). The showers are great and plentiful. The rooms are heated and were even too hot for me, because I was o the top bed, near the heater. The staff was great, especially Amemo, Heidi, Maria and the guy I forgot the name. Shanghai was my first stop in China so I was quite lost and had lots of questions. The staff was always there to help and if it weren’t for them, I would have slept hungry multiple times haha. Thanks guys.

I stayed at a Dengba hostel near Guilin Park Metro Station in Shanghai, and the location was really convenient. It’s about a 7–8 minute walk from the station, which is on Lines 9, 12, and 15, so getting to Xujiahui, People’s Square, and other places was smooth. There are plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby, so I didn’t have to go far for meals or supplies. The staff were professional and friendly. I arrived a bit early, and they helped me store my luggage and patiently answered my questions about transportation and the area. Check-in and check-out were quick, and they responded promptly when I needed help. The room was clean and tidy; overall, it was a hassle-free stay with good value.

On the rainy day, you can borrow an umbrella at the front desk for free. There are also peripherals in their house. There is a hidden convenience bag. My things are broken, and then Xiao Xu, an employee at the front desk, brought us one. Thank him. Haha, this bag is quite sturdy!

Set in Shanghai and within 5.7 km of Shanghai Disneyland, Guiye Inn - Disney Kangqiao Branch has a shared lounge, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi. The staff was very good. The room was modern, clean and light. Check in was 3 hours earlier than it should be. Also they allowed us to keep our baggage after we checked out till the evening without extra charge. On the first floor there are 3 china cafes. The cat was cute.

Situated in Shanghai and within 1.8 km of People's Square, Demba Inn- Shanghai Xintiandi Yuyuan Garden The bund store has a shared lounge, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi. More of a boarding house than an inn, or hostel. As others have said, there are quite a few people living there. Not the best atmosphere for tourists, but didn’t bother me. Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean, but toilet and shower areas are pretty rough. Fair price and decent location.
