Located in the Jinniu district in Chengdu, 700 metres from Wenshu Monastery, Chengdu Lazybones Hostel Templeside Poshpacker boasts air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi throughout the property. I really enjoyed this city, bit mainly because the staff was so good! Penny and Nicole are really great hosts and should be praised by their efforts.

There are curtains around the dorm beds so you have privacy. The bathroom had toiletries for the guests. There were so many nice, well thought out details. I was very impressed.

Highly recommended by the Lonely Planet Guidebook, Teddy Bear Hotel is a 5-minute walk from the Mount Emei Scenic Area. It houses a teddy bear themed Café and accommodation with free internet access. Loved my stay here! The place is so nicely decorated and really cute. The staff were so friendly and helpful too :) very close to start the Mt Emeishan trek.

Set in Leshan and within 7.6 km of Jiazhouzhang Juan, Leshan Qiuye Book House B&B has a garden, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi. Such a lovely quirky hostel this is.. it has a relaxing atmosphere and the staff are very very helpful. I loved the soft beddings and comfortable bed, that provided privacy thank to the curtains. It also featured shelves to put your little bits and bobs on. Bed had its own light and socket. Bathroom had a hairdryer which mainly girls might appreciate.

Located in Songpan, 18 km from Mounigou Scenic Area, Emma's Guesthouse provides air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and a tour desk. Extraordinary host, speaking English, very helpful and accomodating. Great food and atmosphere.

Ideally located in the centre of Chengdu, 笑脸里青年旅舍宽窄店 offers air-conditioned rooms, a garden and a shared lounge. The location was central. The room was clean and had everything I needed. The reception staff were both kind and responsive. I would definitely stay here again if I return to Chengdu.

Featuring a garden, a shared lounge as well as a terrace, POSHPACKER - Chengdu Local Tea Hostel is located in the centre of Chengdu, 1.7 km from Chunxi Road. Great location, just next to metro, lots of restaurants around, and local market very close, we basically just eat near by. walk distance to center. Clean room, good service, staffs are very helpful, and nice balcony for chill out. I have been stayed few hostels in chengdu, this one is the most recommended.

POSHPACKER - Chengdu Mix Hostel - Cicada Zen Yard Poshpacker has been a welcoming haven for international travelers for almost 20 years, offering a cozy retreat in this traditional courtyard house to... Helena speaks English and is very kind. You can apply for tours to Jiuzhaigou and Tibet. However, I can only understand a little English, but she explained things to me many times until I understood. This is the first time I've ever met a hostel staff member who has done this for me. She explained things to other guests really carefully, even outside of working hours, without any unpleasant expressions. You can contact her on Wechat. Her replies are quick and accurate. I was limited in time, so I decided on a tour before arriving at the hostel and was able to go on the tour the next day. During the tour, she was worried about me and sent me messages, and she always cared about me, so I felt very safe during the tour. The other staff at the hostel are also smiling, calm and nice. There are many toilets where you can hang out your laundry. It's clean and cheap. There is a convenience store nearby. It's a great hostel. I recommend this hostel! I love Helena! Thank you so much.
