Located in the Jinniu district in Chengdu, 700 metres from Wenshu Monastery, Chengdu Lazybones Hostel Templeside Poshpacker boasts air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi throughout the property. I came to Sonderia for a few nights and ended up staying for two weeks (with a short trip to Jiuzhaigou National Park). The staff is very friendly, attentive, and helpful, and there are included social activities to meet other travelers, such as hot pot or a mahjong class. There are also a number of tours offered through reception. I booked a giant panda and a red panda "keeper" experience, which were the highlights of my trip :) The downstairs area offers tasty food and becomes a bar in the evening with nightly music and a cool vibe. Nearby are a number of restaurants and shops (even a Walmart and cheap fruit trucks) and a pretty river view with colorful lights at night (at least in November & December). Within walking distance to the metro. I had a spacious private room with private bathroom. Chengdu is a wonderful, laidback, and affordable city, and Sonderia was a great home base. I highly recommend!

The location of the hotel is good. It is very close to Taikoo Li. The sanitation is also very clean. The front desk staff is serious and responsible.

Highly recommended by the Lonely Planet Guidebook, Teddy Bear Hotel is a 5-minute walk from the Mount Emei Scenic Area. It houses a teddy bear themed Café and accommodation with free internet access. I mean, if you are ok with teddys its perfect for you. Dont take the cheapest room, its not so pretty and is very dark, but the upgraded rooms in the topfloor are super. The host Andy is a super cool old guy who helps with all questions. I highly recommend to eat only in the hotel cause its awesome! Its cheaper, very very tasty and beats all the surrounding restaurants in the area. And! They have western styled breakfast, like pancakes... And if you need a good coffee there is a lukincoffee around the corner. Big thanks to andy and his family who made teddys great again.

Leshan Qiuye Book House B&B ligger i Leshan, 7,6 kilometer fra Jiazhouzhang Juan, og har en hage, røykfrie rom og gratis WiFi. The place is stunning and very well taken care of — it feels like stepping into a magical atmosphere surrounded by books and peace. There are two dogs and a very sweet cat who get plenty of cuddles from both the B&B guests and the bookshop customers. The rooms are lovely, clean, and welcoming. The owners greeted us like no one ever has before. They are incredibly kind, helpful, and warm-hearted people. It was a pleasure to meet them and spend time with them in Leshan. In our case, we also met other guests who were truly delightful, and with whom we shared wonderful experiences we will remember forever! See you soon!

The reception staff were both kind and responsive. I would definitely stay here again if I return to Chengdu.
