LOVED my stay here!! It’s such a cute hostel. The staff were amazing and so friendly and helpful, the pool was wonderful, and the food was unreal! The place is very clean and you can tell they pay attention to all the small details as well which I appreciated. It does feel more like a hotel with dorms rather than a hostel as it’s not the most social. But it was exactly what I was looking for with some relaxing time!

Offering an outdoor swimming pool and à la carte restaurant and a garden, Tiki Hut Hostel is located just a few steps from Palomino Beach right between Palomino and San Salvador rivers. Super prostor za druženje, čisti bazeni, osebje zelo prijazno. Restavracija ima odlično hrano (sicer malce dražje kot drugje, vendar je na nivoju).

Nastanitev Maria Mulata Palomino (samo za odrasle) se nahaja v mestu Palomino in ponuja vrt, teraso ter bar. A must visit place if staying in Palomino. I am sad to be leaving and will be returning if I’m any where palomino again. The location is central a 5 minute walk from the beach and on the main strip with all the restaurants and bars. The Maria Mulata bar is for sure the most lively place with music and games going on every night. The food is also great it’s the busiest spot in Palomino for good reason. Have no said this the rooms and quiet and the garden is a lovely place to hang out- equipped with hammocks and the pets: an owl, two macaw parrots (that will speak to you in Spanish if your lucky), a cat and a couple of iguanas. The workers in this hostel are so lovely and make you a part of their family instantly on arrival. Thank you all at Maria Mulata!

Nastanitev Nueve Uno Hostel je v mestu Ríohacha, le nekaj korakov od znamenitosti Plaža Playa de Riohacha, in nudi sobe s klimatsko napravo. Amazing stay, totally perfect and absolutely recomendable

Nastanitev Hostal Corazón de Tagua se nahaja v mestu Palomino, 14 min hoje od znamenitosti Plaža Playa Palomino, in ponuja vrt, brezplačno zasebno parkirišče, skupni prostor za druženje ter teraso. The place is amazingly cute and really has charm built out of wood. There is lots of communal places to hang out in the shade and hamacas. Plenty of showers and bathrooms. The kitchen is one of the best i"ve seen while traveling: 8 hotplaces and at least 10 pans. And the pans are absolutely not the rotten carcinogenic pans you sometimes find in hostels. The often clean the kitchen so it stays nice and clean. Omar has the beat tips om where to eat or what to do. Of course if you look for AC and pool it might not be your vibe. Bur for backpackers like me it is a dream. I ended up staying a week there. And already want to go back.

Nastanitev Sashii Hostel & Boutique. Se nahaja v mestu Ríohacha in ponuja vrt, skupni prostor za druženje ter teraso, na voljo pa je tudi brezplačen WiFi v celotni nastanitvi. Very clean hostel in a good location. I stayed here the night before and after going up to La Guajira. The staff are so kind and helpful and there is a lovely terrace on the top floor.

Hostal La Media Luna Palomino is located among the scenic trees and plants of Palomino and only 1 km away from the nearest beach. The open-air hostel offers a shared lounge. Lovely simple bamboo hotel with a beautiful garden and pool area, 10 minutes from the center of Palomino and from the river Palomino. The owner Juan speaks English and is super friendly, funny and supportive (helped us with laundry, money etc.). Perfect stay!

Nastanitev Pomelo Hostal se nahaja v mestu Mingueo in ponuja zunanji bazen, vrt ter teraso, na voljo pa je tudi brezplačen WiFi. Hostel ponuja razgled na bazen in opremo za peko na žaru. I had a great experience staying at Pomelo hostel! It is located on a beautiful tropical farm with a lovely pool. The hosts, Nina and Camillo, are both very kind and accommodating. The hostel is just a ten-minute walk to Rio Ancho and a ten-minute moto ride to Palomino, where there are great restaurants and beautiful beaches. The property feels like a little paradise, and I couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Highly recommend!

Nastanitev Rancheria Utta se nahaja v mestu Cabo de la Vela in ima vrt, zasebno plažo, skupni prostor za druženje ter bar. Hostel nudi restavracijo z jedmi latinskoameriške kuhinje. We had perfect days at Ranchería Utta. We stayed for three nights, but if I had known how special the energy of Cabo de la Vela is, and how serene and comfortable the ranchería would be, I would have stayed longer. The food is delicious and reasonably priced, and everyone who works there is kind and helpful. The lodge is beautifully maintained, and the room was spacious and extremely comfortable. I will definitely come back someday — everything was truly special. A heartfelt thank you especially to Gabriel, Andrés, and Will, with whom we had the most contact. A big hug!
