Offering a terrace and views of the garden, Masaya Casas Viejas is set 30 minutes away from Minca in the Magdalena Region by 4x4 or motorcycle, and 12 mi from Santa Marta. The property, the pool, the view and the staff were all incredible, especially Sergio our host. I absolutely loved this place. The private rooms were great to have your space and comfort while still enjoying the social aspect of the hostel.

Amazing hostel on the beach, Carolina was great and helped me enter the room at 1pm (Gabriela didn't allow me even though hostel was almost empty, but that's fine, you can leave your bags at reception and chill on the beach). Great wifi, delicious food at their restaurant, cool vibes. Lot of options to reserve, I stayed in dorm of 4 beds, good AC and both nights ended up alone in the room. Kind staff, very clean, good beach- almost no waves(explore on the right, over the rocks - there is a private beach for you). Will definitely come back!

Justin and his team have made this place a real gem in the old town of Santa Marta. The location is perfect, close to everything but quiet too. The food in the cafe is delicious, but the best thing is the welcome. We ended up making this our base and returned 3 times to our 'home from home' in Santa Marta. Highly recommended!!

Waking up surrounded by nature and birdsong was pure joy. Staying at Minca Seasons Birds was truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, the owner made us feel not just welcome, but genuinely cared for. Their kindness, warmth, and attention to every detail turned our stay into something very special—we felt more like guests in a home than visitors at an accommodation. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and prepared with so much thought, especially for non–meat eaters.

Awesome location to go diving or to get to tayron park, it's right in the historical centre of Santa Marta. The hotel was exceptionally clean, the staff did everything to accommodate our needs. Awesome breakfast included.

Calma Chicha terletak di tepi pantai di Santa Marta, jarak yang amat dekat dari Pantai Guachaca dan 42km dari Quinta de San Pedro Alejandrino. You can't beat the location if you want to sleep on the beach or need to unplug. It's a small fishing/surfing village, with a touristic twist. The waves are quite intense so swimming may or may not be a good idea depending on the waves. We enjoyed watching the fisherman putting the boats in the water in the morning, the whole community comes to help. Don't expect a 5 star hotel with all the amenities, this isn't it. It's a wonderful little spot on a beautiful beach. The internet works. It's accessible by bus and a half a mile walk (or moto ride). It's also a short bus ride to the entrance of Tayrona Park. We absolutely loved sleeping with the sound of the waves.
