Conveniently set in the Old Town district of Regensburg, Hostel am Ostentor is located 600 metres from Regensburg Cathedral and the Stony Bridge. Great, clean and tidy hostel. Big rooms with big lockers, comfortable beds, huge bathrooms. Nice equipped kitchen with all that you need to cook, so clean also. Good location in downtown, not so far to the train station, yo can just take a bus from Dachauplatz to safe some time (a lot of frequency with those busses). Standard facilities for this price.

Well located in the centre of Munich, CVJM Jugendhotel München provides buffet breakfast and free WiFi throughout the property. Receptionists were really friendly and helpful, everything is clean and modern. They have great suggestions on were to go and how to get there. Rooms are nice, temperature was right, is really useful to have the bathroom and shower inside the bedroom also.

Offering a accommodation in a big tent, THE TENT is a unique youth hostel run by the city of Munich. Therefore, this hostel also has an age restriction if you book through booking.com. At the hostel you could plenty of activities - play 3d chess, play table tennis, sit next to the bonfire and sing songs with people. You could play guitar, piano, etc. There were a lot of places to sit outside. Personnel was extremely friendly and could speak great English. You could cook your own food, bathrooms were good, there were always clean and free. You could do laundry for less than 7 euros with drying and detergent. There were lockers, you can a lock at Teddy for 2 euros and it fits the lockers. You could pick your own bed, they give you enough blankets to put them around your bed to hide yourself from people. It was only 30min from the city centre by the tram. The silence time is at 1am but people aren't loud inside, just outside and doesn't bother almost at all.

However, there are staff members available during the day if assistance is needed. The room was beautifully furnished. There was even a fridge and a fan. I liked that there was a band rehearsal in the garage downstairs on Friday night. Of course, we are talking about the early evening. It wouldn't disturb anyone's sleep, but the music created a wonderful atmosphere. I don't think a shared bathroom could be cleaner. The toilets were also quite well extended. The kitchen is well equipped. For my entire trip, I slept in a total of 6 places of the same price range, but the price-quality ratio here was the best. I would love to come back!
