We had a very warm and efficient welcome from Irunie, thank you. The albergua itself was very clean and functional, with much care given to details (like leaving euros for the coffee machine with breakfast meal in the fridge), which was very lovely to receive. Bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and rest area were all great to use. We could store our bikes safely in a spacious storage. Can highly recommend!

Rustic (very large) lounge room with easy access to picturesque porch for hanging out with dogs and cats, my favorite! And the hostess is friendly and helpful. Fun, relaxed family environment.

The location in nature but close to the beach and the coastal village of Ea, the many beautiful hiking options, the modern but cosy house with plenty of inside and outside spaces to enjoy company or relaxing, the rooms and abundant facilities, the view.. all deserve a 10/10, but what truly made my stay memorable was het hospitality of Joanna’s family. The way they treat their guests makes everybody feel welcome. Plan a few days extra in this one of a kind home away from home, you’ll thank me later!

Excellent experience, beautiful old building in perfect condition, very spacious rooms, spotless clean and very friendly owner. The views are incredible and a very peaceful place. Greatly recommend. Blai Blai Hostel berlokasi di Zarautz, berjarak 5 menit jalan kaki dari Pantai Zarautz dan 19 km dari La Concha Promenade. I stayed overnight in Zarautz and this place is very well kept, cozy, and has all the facilities a backpacker and a pilgrim might need, the seaside and shops and restaurants are all nearby, the host was very kind and helpful. Would definitely come back again on my next Camino!
