Wonder Hostel offers accommodation in Toledo near Puerta del Sol Toledo and Puerta de Bisagra. This place is awesome. Very modern, stylish, clean and comfortable with very friendly staff. It is outside of the historic medieval center. At first this may seem like a drawback, but it is actually a benefit because.. A) The center is extremely crowded with tourists and here you have space to breathe. B) There are some really cool places near the hostel that seem unknown to other tourists. When I went there were only locals around. There are the ruins of the Roman Circus (for chariot races) inside a city park and also a cafe that is a recreation of the one from the TV show FRIENDS called Central Perks. There's a great restaurant across from the ruins called Reconquista 14 that has incredible mazapan and quick friendly service.
