Carpe Viam is situated in Santo Domingo de la Calzada, 7.3 km from Rioja Alta and 49 km from La Rioja Museum. The staff, the girl in the reception was really kind and friendly who let us do the check in earlier than the official time. The room was very clean, nice decorations around the entire hostel, warm place to make you feel at home, toiletries provided, clean towels and the bathroom had a very nice fresh smell. We loved so much this hostal in our Camino pass in this town. Location is great because it's just close to the cathedral and on the Camino road. I highly recommend this hostal.
