Attractively located in the centre of Madrid, The Loft House Madrid features air-conditioned rooms, a shared lounge, free WiFi and a bar. The hostel is designed beautifully and everything was clean thanks to the regular cleaning service. There are many common spaces for both eating and working, and there are communal facilities available to the guests. This is the first hostel I've stayed at that also arranges activities for its guests, which was a nice touch. The location is also good, although there are currently roadworks right outside the hostel so it could be a bit dusty outside.

Sungate Hostel is located in the very centre of Madrid, 210 metres from Puerta del Sol and 5 minutes' walk away from Callao metro station and Gran Vía Avenue. Free WiFi access is available. Never been to a hostel before so I was nervous. The staff and the receptionist Fran were very friendly, they had activities all the time and gave us dinner. They have a kitchen but I suggest getting up early so you can prepare something. The facilities were very good, everything was clean and I was impressed because there were a lot of people but you really couldn’t notice.
