Set in a Georgian mansion, YHA Penzance features a traditional restaurant and leafy gardens. Penzance Seafront is a 15-minute walk away, and Newlyn Harbour is just 1.5 miles away. Staff were awesome. Chris held the room despite my NZ bank blocking my card (even though they were notified I was overseas). Clean and lovely place to stay.

Set in Newquay, within 300 metres of Newquay Train Station and 47 km of Carbis Bay, Tolcarne Guest House offers accommodation with free WiFi throughout the property. Exceeded our expectations for a relatively low budget hostel like spot. Room was charming with bright bedding, high ceilings, a small table with chairs and window that opened. Bathroom down the hall was always available. Location right downtown was great.
