Set in Nether Wasdale, YHA Wasdale Hall is 1.3 km from Wasdale and offers various facilities, such as a garden, a shared lounge and a bar. Amazing location with direct access to the lake, with a beautiful lounge area. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Dorm room was relatively spacious and bathrooms were clean. Food was decent which was good since theres not a lot of options nearby.

I had a wonderful experience staying at YHA Ambleside. The hostel is well-maintained, with very clean bathrooms and toilets, which made the stay comfortable. The rooms were spotless, and the bunk beds were sturdy and comfortable, perfect for a good night’s rest after exploring the Lake District. There’s also a bar and hotel attached to the property, which serves delicious food and a nice variety of drinks — a great spot to unwind in the evening while enjoying the lakeside views. Overall, YHA Ambleside offers excellent value for money with a friendly atmosphere, clean facilities, and great food options nearby. Would definitely stay here again!
