Just a few minutes’ walk from Fort Augustus on the edge of Loch Ness, this award-winning lodge offers four-star hostel accommodation with free Wi-Fi and free parking on site. Value was really good, especially considering we booked it in a short notice. Comfy beds, clean room, dog-friendly, lovely staff. A lot of communal spaces.

Drumnadrochit is quiet and beautiful, and although I’m a Californian, the people were kind to me. There’s a creek right out back that’s wonderful to fall asleep listening to. The bar was great, the room was great, the location was great, and the Loch Ness Inn Team was great. It’s also only a mile or so from Urquhart Castle and Loch Ness. 11/10, will go again and highly recommend.

It was very close to the water. If you want to you can go for a swim. It was very quite even though it is next to the street. It is very clean.

Staff were nice and service minded. there is a laundry. there is a shared kitchen living room. No groceries right nearby but had to walk 800 m. perfect when hiking the Great Glen Way.
