Just a few minutes’ walk from Fort Augustus on the edge of Loch Ness, this award-winning lodge offers four-star hostel accommodation with free Wi-Fi and free parking on site. Had the veggie dinner as well as the breakfasts. All excellent. Many people were cooking their dinners in the well-equipped kitchen. Room was quiet, clean and cozy. Lounge area offered a great opportunity to meet other hikers and cyclists. This was my 3rd time staying at Morag's! Staff amazing and helpful.

Absolutely amazing hostel! I was supposed to stay just one night, but after meeting such awesome people on my first evening, I couldn’t help but stay another night — seriously, I blame it all on the amazing vibe there! The place itself is super clean, well-organized, and comfy — but that’s just the basics. What really makes it unforgettable is the atmosphere: a warm welcome, fun and friendly vibes, and incredible people from all over the world. And the location? Just wow — right on the shores of Loch Ness, with views that are straight-up breathtaking. Those two nights ended up being the absolute highlight of my whole trip. Can’t recommend it enough — I’ll definitely be back!

Tesiste ortak mutfak vardır. downdown Drum. a man played bagpipe and there was a picnic area. I stayed in a very small but practical camping hut. Staff were nice and service minded. there is a laundry. there is a shared kitchen living room. No groceries right nearby but had to walk 800 m. perfect when hiking the Great Glen Way.
