Laura has created a little gem here a hostel with the service and facilities of a hotel. The mattress was by far the best I have ever had in a hostel and the Welcome box was just perfect. The restaurant attached is fab, has a great vibe, and the staff are amazing.

Set in a grand 17th-century manor, this YHA is situated in Hartington, in the heart of the Peak District. The majority of rooms at YHA Hartington Hall contain bunk beds. Beautiful property especially in the snow! Room as warm which was amazing for in the snow. Staff were really lovely and there were spaces for us to be together as a big group of 8 without disturbing others.

Surrounded by the Peak District countryside, this Victorian gothic mansion is set in formal gardens and 27 acres of parkland. beautiful, friendly, food was great value too

Located in Millers Dale, 12 km from Buxton Opera House, YHA Ravenstor provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a restaurant. Staff were great. It had a bar and lovley outside seating looking at amazing views. We shall return nearer to some amazing attractions. Building is beautiful.

Boasting a garden, Soli Hostel is set in Alton in the Staffordshire region, 2 km from Alton Towers and 26 km from Trentham Gardens. Gary was very welcoming and showed us around. We haven't stayed in a YH before but it was super comfy and clean . The food the pub down the hill was Thai and delicious, we took it back and ate outside. We will be back for sure. Beautiful scenery.

Macclesfield Lodge is located in Macclesfield, within 19 km of Buxton Opera House and 23 km of Fletcher Moss Botanical Gardens. The host was so attentive, we lost power and didn’t have a mirror and they straight away fixed both issues.
