Fun communal spaces and games available. Kitchen very clean and everyone very respectful. Hoover available for any mess. Plenty of tea towels. Beds very comfortable and warm. Staff also very knowledgable about hiking routes.

What an absolute gem of a place to stay! The owners were very welcoming, the hostel is spotlessly clean, and such a quirky set up being an old school. Loved that! Highly recommend a stay! I arrived at night but waking up early and seeing the views from the hostel was lovely, its in a beautiful spot! Please take the time to wander along the road to the old slate quarry, well worth a visit!

The location was amazing, and it was great value for money. We enjoyed having a coffee in the morning in the little garden, with views of a hillock in the background. You cont find a cheaper place to stay. The mattresses were comfy and the place was clean.
